September is fast approaching when our church will be serving meals to the 4-H youth during the 18 days of the Big E. As most of you know we have been providing 3 meals a day to these young people for 95 years. This project enables us to work with the community and also realize a financial benefit for our church. This year the Big E runs from Friday, Sept 12th -Sunday Sept 29th. On Thursday, Sept 12th we will be serving lunch and supper as the youth arrive and settle in. We usually serve 300-400 meals a day to lots of smiling faces. The week-ends are extra busy and require extra help ( especially men). Many hands make light work and fun too.
We need help to set up the Moses building cafeteria on Sat Sept 7th at 9:00 AM. Tables & benches have to be set up and cleaned to accept supplies. On Sunday, Sept. 29th we will also be breaking down and bringing equipment and supplies back to the church. Please let us know if y0u can help transport equipment.
We look forward to another successful year and hope to see many old friends as well as new people. Please bring a friend! This is an opportunity for fun and fellowship, while providing for the future of our church.
