Preschool Closing

The Mittineague Methodist Community Preschool will temporarily close beginning on Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 27, 2020. This decision has been made after obtaining information from the Department of Early Education and Care, the Center for Disease Control, and the local Boards of Health. This is a voluntary closing in order to support “social distancing” which professionals have stated will help control the spread of COVID-19. Our first priority continues to be the safety of the children, families and our staff members. At this time please be aware there have been no illnesses reported to MMPS and this is a strictly preventative decision.
On Friday, March 27, we will reevaluate the situation and a decision will be made as to when we will resume our normal schedule. We continue to monitor the situation and will make an informed decision in the best interest of our community.
