Sunday, March 15th Worship Service….sort-of

Hi everyone. We made an effort to record the service last Sunday but the program we used crashed. So, Pastor Rick recorded parts of it from his home office (don’t worry, he didn’t sing the hymns!). We will be trying to do this or record a service each Sunday during the outbreak.

Sunday Service – March 15, 2020

Preschool Closing

The Mittineague Methodist Community Preschool will temporarily close beginning on Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 27, 2020. This decision has been made after obtaining information from the Department of Early Education and Care, the Center for Disease Control, and the local Boards of Health. This is a voluntary closing in order to support “social distancing” which professionals have stated will help control the spread of COVID-19. Our first priority continues to be the safety of the children, families and our staff members. At this time please be aware there have been no illnesses reported to MMPS and this is a strictly preventative decision.
On Friday, March 27, we will reevaluate the situation and a decision will be made as to when we will resume our normal schedule. We continue to monitor the situation and will make an informed decision in the best interest of our community. Please feel free to reach out to the director with questions and concerns via e-mail at Director@mmpskids.com. Please continue to access MMPS’s Facebook page and website at mmpskids.com for further information.

Open or Closed?

Open or closed we still worship. Tomorrow we will be open for worship but I encourage you if you feel you need to stay home, please do so. Spend time in prayer (we certainly have enough to pray about!), read the scripture (Luke 5:4-11) and think about how serving Christ has been and could be in your life. We will try to video the service and post it.
